Senses Delight
Enjoy the cool vibes of this neighborhood rich in history and culture, here you will thrill your senses from wonderful crafts, colorful streets, traditional music and delicious food.
In this experience we will focus in the archaeological site and we will visit four places within the area:
Old quarter of Coyoacan: this section of the neighborhood is full of colonial buildings such as Pedro de Alvarado house and Santa Catarina Church, the streets are narrow with alleys that resemble Mexican Magical Towns, quiet and colorful.
Frida's Blue House: the place where the famous artis let her emotions flow and then capture in her artistic work. The house for the most part preserves its original set up including Riveras room, books and paint tools. You can also find a few paintings of Rivera and Frida.
Coyoacan Center: this is the heart of the neighborhood is surrounded by historical places such as San Francisco Church, the former Town Hall from where Cortes managed the so called New Spain and all this spiced up with modern shops and street vendors that give new life to this old place.
Coyoacan Market: if you want to experience true Mexico you must go to a popular market, here you can find
from traditional home utensils, to piñatas and even some witchcraft charms and
potions and of course the most important... Mexican Food.
